The NEEBC Scholarship Program was established by the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC). The Council supports advancing the education and knowledge of individuals in the employee benefits field. Every year, undergraduate and graduate students will receive awards up to $5,000 for a degree in human resources, employee benefits, and/or total rewards, all of which may encompass compensation/underwriting/consulting/ retirement planning/ through their course of study and/or work experience.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be undergraduate and/or graduate students (part-time or full-time) currently enrolled in an accredited public or private New England college or university in Connecticut, Maine, New England, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont.
- Who have completed minimally one semester of classes, and
- Who have demonstrated an interest in Human Resources, Employee Benefits, and/or Total Rewards.

Application Process:
Here’s what you must submit besides your application.
- Essay
- Resume
- Completed application
- Copy of most recent official college transcript and/or unofficial transcripts from a school portal
- One or more reference(s) from college professors, NEEBC members, or other benefit professionals
Selection Process:
Applications will be assessed based on the application and corresponding essay, the student’s college GPA and transcript, one or more references, and resume.
