Leighton M. Ballew Directing Award

The Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) created the Leighton M. Ballew Directing Award to cover the cost of studying for students in graduate directing programs. The award is offered to one student a $2,500 scholarship to study at an accredited school in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must be a Graduate – Postgraduate at an accredited school in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.
