NYSAWWA High School Senior Scholarship 2025

The New York Section American Water Works Association (NYSAWWA) Board of Governors offers the scholarship, aimed at encouraging high school seniors and freshmen currently enrolled at a college/university to pursue a degree related to the water industry or pursuing an environmental degree. Under the program, two winners will receive an award of $1,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must have their legal residence in New York State or their status as students enrolled in a New York State institution or university. 
  • Must be graduate high school senior who has been accepted into a four-year college or university to pursue a degree in the water industry or a full-time freshman at a four-year college or university to pursue a degree in the water sector.
