The Indiana Commission for Higher Education created the award, aimed at offering financial support for Indiana students to attend tertiary institutions. Every year, recipients will receive an award ranging from $650 to $9,200.

Frank O’Bannon Grant – Overview

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Must be an Indiana resident.
• Must be a high school graduate or hold a GED;
• Must attend, or plan to attend, an eligible Indiana postsecondary institution;
• Must be enrolled, or plan to enroll, in a course of study leading to an associates or first bachelor’s degree; or must be seeking a certificate at Ivy Tech Community College or Vincennes University;
• Must be a full-time student, or plan to enroll as a full-time student;
