Miller Johnson Diversity Law Scholarship 2025

The Miller Johnson Diversity Law Scholarship is sponsored by two organizations, Miller Johnson Attorneys and the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. It aims to ensure that all students interested in the legal industry have the opportunity to pursue this vocation. The award is offered to students of color who are permanent residents of the state of Michigan. Each year, a winner of the scholarship will be provided funding of $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must have been accepted into or are presently studying at an accredited law school within the U.S.
  • Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Only U.S. citizens from Alaskan Native, Asian American, Black, Hispanic, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander.
