Catherine E Philbin Public Health Scholarship 2025

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Massachusetts offers the Catherine E. Philbin Public Health Scholarship, aimed at helping young people pursue higher education. Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must be legal residents of Massachusetts.
  • Must have a high school ID or MA driving license as proof of residence.
  • Must be a Undergraduate – Postgraduate.

Here’s what you must submit besides your application.

  • Completed application form
  • Personal statement of not more than 500 words addressing your professional goals and how they relate to public health. Word count on the statement must be provided.
  • Letter of reference from a high school teacher, academic advisor or college professor (original on school letterhead).
  • Copy of Massachusetts driver’s license or high school ID.
  • Official transcript with grades.
