The Alabama Golf Association (AGA) offers the AGA Women‘s Scholarship, aimed at supporting young female golfers in their pursuit of higher education. It is open to high school students and several high school championships. The annual scholarship is awarded to $20,000 to high school graduates.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must attend an accredited college or university.
  • Must be residents of Alabama and in need of financial support.
  • Must be enrolled as full-time students carrying a class load of no fewer than twelve (12) hours per academic semester or quarter unless written permission.
  • Must maintain a minimum of a C+ (2.4 out of 4 point) their freshman year and a B- (2.8 out of 4) thereafter.
