The Hearst Awards Program is designed to offer educational opportunities, including seminars on reporting techniques and workshops on media law. The Program aims to help foster the next generation of journalists. The Hearst Journalism Awards Program is offered to shape the future of journalism by recognizing excellence in college journalism. Under the program, five winners will get an award of $1,000–$10,000.

Eligibility:

- Must be undergraduate journalism majors or minors currently enrolled in
ACEJMC – accredited domestic universities.
