Every year, Greenhouse Scholars offers the Greenhouse Scholars Scholarship, aimed at supporting low-income students who have shown the values of leadership, accountability, and relentlessness in high school. Greenhouse Scholars, an organization, awards 34 applicants with the financial aid of $5,000 a year to promote growth and development in students.

Eligibility:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, Utah, or select counties in California (Los Angeles County, Riverside County, or Orange County)
- Must hold a minimum GPA score of 3.5 or above
- Applicants will have to show their financial need (annual household income no greater than $80,000)
- Must have excellent leadership skills, an ability to persevere through difficult circumstances, and a strong interest in and commitment to your community

Application Process will have four rounds.
Round 1 – Eligibility Survey & Short Response
- The application will include collecting eligibility and demographic information, as well as a short answer response.
Round 2 – Academic Information & Essay Response
- Submit your transcript, test scores (with exception), additional demographic information, two letters of recommendation, short answer responses, and an essay response.
Round 3 – Video Response & Financial Information
- Semi-finalists will be required to create and submit a short video response.
Round 4 – Interviews
- IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS will take place from March 23 -April 2, 2026. The authority will announce the winners (week of April 27th, 2026). Scholars from California, Colorado, Illinois, Georgia, New York, and North Carolina are announced by phone and email.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be selected based on four rounds, with each round carrying its own set of criteria and rules. In the 4th round, there will be an in-person interview, after which the winners will be notified by phone and email.
