Oracle Corporation founded the Oracle Developer Scholars Program, aimed at helping a diverse pipeline of college-educated professionals poised to assume careers in software development and computer engineering. The Oracle Corporation offers a scholarship along with an award of $10,000 every year to college sophomores and college seniors from underrepresented communities undertaking undergraduate study in various computer-related fields at any accredited university across the United States.

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be College Sophomore – Graduate.
- Must be residents of United States.
- Must have a Required GPA: 3.0

Selection Criteria:
The selection committee will consider the application based on the merit of a solid personalized essay statement, recommendation letter, and resume quality, and at least a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0. However, the board of directors will make the final decision. If an applicant is chosen, they will receive internships during the summer, and upon completion, interns for a $10,000 scholarship.
