The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity was founded in 1986 by Elie Wiesel and his wife Marion. The Ellie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest is an essay writing competition. It rewards students with well-crafted ideas on the topic of discussion. Under the program, the recipients will receive a first prize reward of $10,000, a second prize of $5,000, a third prize of $3,000, and two honorable mentions of $1,000 each.
