AABE National Scholarship

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is providing the AABE National Scholarships, aimed at supporting the studies of students from minority groups pursuing energy-related careers. Under the scholarship, the award of $3,000–$5,000 will be given to 13 graduating high school seniors. 12 winners will get $3,000 while a $5,000 renewable scholarship goes to one student.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must be High School Senior who will major in engineering, physical sciences, technology, or business.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0.

Application Process:

Here’s what you must submit besides your application.

  • Grade transcript
  • Standardized Test Scores

Selection Process:

Applicants will be selected based on scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, and writing skills. The applicants will get Points based on their average GPAs, ACT/SAT scores, number of extracurricular activities they were involved in, and number of Advanced Classes.
