The Art Porter Music Education, Inc. Board of Directors created the scholarship in memory of Art Porter, Sr., and Art Porter, Jr. It is offered to promote excellence in music education to musically talented Arkansas high school graduates. Under the program, an amount of $3,000.00 will be awarded over four years to a graduating high school senior.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be high school graduates who reside in the State of Arkansas and plan to obtain a music degree.
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
