Judge Micha A. Martone and John Barczyk started the Courageous Persuaders program. Judge Martone served in the Oakland district court while Barczyk served for an advertising agency. Every year, a video contest is held for high school students to participate, highlighting the dangers of underage drinking, a growing problem. To get a scholarship ranging from $250 to $3,000, you must fill in an application form along with submitting a 30- second awareness video.
