Day of Pride Scholarship UCONN 2025 – Eligibility
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Applicant should be a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident Alien, or undocumented student residing in Connecticut for two or more years.
- Must be a Connecticut resident enrolled in and expected to graduate from a secondary school in the state.
- Must be enrolled in the Fall semester of 2026.
- Must demonstrate involvement in leadership activities in high school or the community.
- Must show a commitment to diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives.
- Optional submission of standardized test scores (SAT minimum: 1170, ACT minimum: 24).
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale and rank in the top 15% of their graduating class (if available).

Selection Criteria:
Applications will be selected based on academic achievement as demonstrated by GPA, rank in class, and optional standardized test scores. After that, the Scholarship Selection Committee will also conduct an interview with eligible applicants. If Applicants are selected for an interview will be required to demonstrate financial need by filling out the Estimated Financial Form that they will receive via email.
