Equitable Excellence Scholarship 2025

Equitable Foundation offers the Equitable Excellence Scholarship® program for high school seniors and engagement to create pathways to opportunities for aspiring college students. The Equitable Excellence Scholarship® program aims to help students from across the country who strive to be a force for good in their communities.

The application for current high school seniors heading to college in the fall of 2026 has been started on October 1, 2025, and will remain active until December 18, 2025, 4:00 p.m. EST / 1:00 p.m. PT. Each year, recipients will receive renewable scholarships of $5,000 for all four years of their undergraduate study, totaling $20,000 in financial support.

Eligibility:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Must be a current high school senior that resides in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
• Must Demonstrate ambition and self-drive to be a force for good in their communities by encouraging others to pursue higher education.
• Who are willing to provide a release to publicize their identities and information about their plans or achievements along with photographs for use in Program promotion/information.
• Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Awards

Awards ranging up to $500,000. Up to 100 renewable awards of $5,000 each will be granted.

• $5,000 awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree

• Credit hours for each course and term

Selection Criteria:

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of:

• Financial Need.
• Leadership and participation in school and community activities, awards, and honors
• Work experience
• Unusual personal or family circumstances
• A personal statement* that demonstrates ambition and self-drive to give back to the community by encouraging other students to pursue post-secondary attainment
