Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes 2025

The Young Heroes Project awards the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes. Renowned author T.A. Barron created the scholarship to inspire young people with an eye on serving the public. Under the program, 25 recipients will receive an award of $10,000 each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • The ages must be between 8 and 18.
  • Must be permanent residents of and currently residing in the U.S.A. or Canada.
  • Who are currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months
  • Who are working as an individual to lead their service work. The Barron Prize does not accept applications from large groups of young people.

Selection Process:
