The Horace M. Thayer Scholarship is open to university and college students, aimed at fostering a greater appreciation of shade trees and promoting the science and practice of professional arboriculture in Pennsylvania and Delaware. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a major, minor, option, or program related to the practice of arboriculture and urban forestry at an accredited college or university. The Scholarship will include an award of $3,000 each.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be a Undergraduate.
- Must have a required GPA – 2.5
- Must be Resident of Pennsylvania or Delaware
- Must be Returning to the second year of a two-year program or at least the second year of a four-year program at an accredited college or university and be currently enrolled in a major, minor, option, or program of arboriculture, horticulture, forestry, urban forestry, or related field.
