The Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling offers the IACAC Transfer Scholarship program for students who are studying at community colleges and are looking to transfer to IACAC member institutions. 5 eligible students will get a $5,000 scholarship fund.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must have completed at least 36 semester hours at a community college in Illinois.
- Must have minimum GPAs of 3.0 from all institutions.
- Must be an applicant to an IACAC member four-year institution for Fall 2025 first-time enrollment

Application Process:
Here’s what you must submit besides your application.
- Complete the IACAC Transfer Scholarship Application, including essay and resume
- Submit unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended
- Recipient will be required to submit official transcripts
- Enroll at an IACAC member postsecondary institution as a new student for the following spring or fall per the selected application
Selection Process:
Members of the IACAC Transfer Advisory Committee will consider applications paying particular attention to academic performance, extracurricular activities, and personal statements.
