Joyce and Jerry Klein founded the JJ Klein Scholarship Fund. It is offered to Alaskan high school graduates and college freshmen to pursue post-secondary education. Two successful applicants will be awarded with up to $10,000 to cover the costs of their higher education.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be in their senior year at an Alaskan high school, or their first year of post-secondary education.
- Must have enrolled full-time at an accredited institute of higher education or vocational school.
- Must have a GPA ranging between 2.0 and 3.2.
