The Lemieux Lovejoy Youth Scholarship is offered to a high school senior woman or recent graduate who will enroll in an accredited college or training program in the fall for more than one year in length.Under the program, one student will receive an award of $1,500.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must be a high school senior woman or recent graduate who will enroll in an accredited college or training program in the Maine.

Application Process:

Here’s what you must submit besides your application.

  • Completed application form, with statement of financial need completed by a Financial Aid Official or Guidance Counselor.
  • Official transcript(s) from the schools (s) or college (s) attended.
  • Verification of acceptance from the college or school.
  • Two letters of recommendation pertinent to this application. T
  • A hand signed statement by the applicant describing educational, personal and career goals.

Selection Process:

Applications will be evaluated based on the level of financial need demonstrated to complete an educational program, and a realistic goal relating to educational plans.
