MTU Visual and Performing Arts Talent Award 2025

The Michigan Technological University (MTU) started the MTU Visual and Performing Arts Talent Award, aimed at providing financial support to talented high school seniors accepted to Michigan Technology University (MTU). Under the program, the recipient will receive an award of $2,000 along with renewable for up to four years.

MTU Visual and Performing Arts Talent Award – Overview

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Any incoming first-year students pursuing any university major and planning to participate in creative arts actively can apply.
• High school seniors who have been accepted to Michigan Tech may present work in music (instrumental and vocal), theatrical dance, acting, sound, visual art, music composition, and technical theatre.
• Must actively participate in musical ensembles, stage productions, take coursework in visual arts, or work toward a degree, second degree, or minor offered through the Visual and Performing Arts Department to retain the award.
