The National Aviation Exploring Committee awards the National Aviation Explorer Scholarships for young people in the field of aviation exploration. Students who have the technologies and talents in the field of aviation are eligible for this program.

The members of the committee will assess various factors including proof of good basic flying training, performance history in school and/or job, volunteering, and financial necessity.
