NEWH, INC. was established in Los Angeles in 1948 by a group of women. Any students pursuing a degree in hospitality, interior design, culinary arts, or architecture are eligible for the award. Under the program, three winners will receive an award ranging from $10,000–$25,000.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be residing in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, or Montana who want to pursue a degree in hospitality, interior design, culinary arts, or architecture.
- Must have a Required GPA: 3.0
