Race for Education Scholarship

The KEEP Foundation Scholarship offers the Race for Education to Kentucky students pursuing a field of study within the equine, animal science, or agriculture industry and/or whose family is employed in the equine, animal science or agriculture industry. Applicants must submit applications and supporting materials by MAY 1, 2023 (Applications open January 1, 2023), up to $5,000 per year.

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Must be students seeking a career in the equine, animal science, or agriculture industries in Kentucky.

  • Two signed letters of recommendation.
  • Current Official Transcript (seal can be broken)
  • Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Award letter(s) for other scholarship, if applicable

Selection Process:

Applicants who are pursuing a career in animal science, agriculture, or the equine industry can be eligible to be judged on their commitment to the industry, their community service, and their leadership skills. However, The Race for Education will make the final approval of scholarship award recipients.
