RMMI Engineering Scholarship 2025

The Rocky Mountain Mining Institute (RMMI) started the RMMI Engineering Scholarship to assist mining students in furthering their education. The scholarship will be worth up to $5,000 over three years ($2,000 for the initial application, $2,000 for the first renewal, and $1,000 for the second renewal).

RMMI Engineering Scholarship – Overview

Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Who have Enrolled full-time in a four-year degree program and good standing at the time of selection;
• Must be enrolled and attending a college or university as a full-time student
• Must be Both a U.S. citizen and a legal resident of one of the following states – Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming;
• Must be pursuing a degree in a mining-related field or the engineering disciplines such as mining, geology, mineral processing, metallurgy, electrical, mechanical, and environmental;
• Must have an expressed interest in mining as a career path.
