The TN Higher Education Commission and Student Assistance Corporation offer the Minority Teaching Fellows Program for Undergraduate and graduate students, pursuing teacher certification at an approved Tennessee college or university. Under the program, one student will receive an award of $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be Undergraduate and graduate students, pursuing teacher certification at an approved Tennessee college or university.
- Must have a Required GPA: 2.5
- Ethnicity can be Alaskan Native, Asian American, Black, Hispanic, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander
