The VMFA Visual Arts Fellowships Undergraduate is offered to support professional artists and art and art history students who have shown exceptional creative ability in their chosen discipline. Under the program, eight students will receive an amount of $4,000annually.

Eligibility:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Open to all Virginia resident college-bound high school seniors or graduates, or current undergraduate students.
- Must be enrolled full-time and stay enrolled through the following year.

Selection Criteria:
The committee will review the application based on merit because jurors won’t see your name or personal documents and will make blind selections based on the work presented.
