Each year, Women Leading Kentucky awards multiple scholarships are offered to female undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and are attending a Kentucky college/university. This scholarship ranges from $1,000 – $1,500.

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities on campus/community
- women who attend Kentucky colleges and universities.
- Currently enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore or junior
- GPA of 3.0 or better

Application Process:
Here’s what you must submit besides your application.
- Essay – write a 400-word essay on leadership – ‘Characteristics of Effective Leaders’ including these points in your essay: traits of an effective leader; how you have excelled as a leader; and your ambition to make an impact as a leader in your chosen career.
