The University of New Mexico (UNM) offers the Woodward Scholars scholarship, named in respect of Hugh B. and Helen K. Woodward. The award is given based on merit in honor of its sponsors. The Woodward Scholars scholarship will help promote and support exceptional academic achievement.

Eligibility:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Must be High School Graduate – Undergraduate.
- Must have a GPA – a minimum of 3.0
- Must be NM High School Graduate or NM GED recipient.
- Must be the high school graduates of New Mexico or New Mexico General Education Diploma (GED) recipients.
