The Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO) offers the scholarship program to provide financial aid to graduates majoring in national security, international relations, security policy, or intelligence studies. The Jasin Graduate Scholarship is offered to graduate students focused on national security issues who are pursuing degrees in areas such as international relations, security policy, or intelligence studies and who are currently serving in the U.S. Government or have intention.
Under the program, three winners will get an amount of $5,000 each to ease educational expenses. Tuition grants will be paid directly to the Bursar/Registrar of the University concerned. College seniors and graduate students who want to pursue further studies can aply for this award. The award encourages candidates who wish to study in schools of engineering, science, technology and/or show extensive foreign language mastery and/or area knowledge in Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Persian, Hausa and other sub-Saharan African languages, Hebrew, Punjabi, Somali, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.

Eligibility:
Here is the following criteria to be eligible for award:
- You should not apply earlier than your senior undergraduate year of college, and no later than your second year of graduate school studies.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must send all materials via the online form by midnight on 1 June 2025. No applications will be accepted after midnight on 1 June 2025.

Selection Criteria:
The AFIO committee will choose the applications based on merit, character, academic commitment, relevance of studies to national security interests, and career ambitions. Applicants can have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to increase the higher chances of the award.
