The Paul Hastings Diversity Scholarship was created by Paul Hastings LLP, aimed at promoting diversity and inclusiveness in the work environment. All students attending an ABA-accredited law school can apply for this scholarship. Every year, Paul Hastings LLP offers scholarships to two student groups, first-year law students (1L) and second-year law students (2L). Students receive $25,000. The winners of the Paul Hastings Fellowship will get a paid 1L and/or 2L summer associate position and a $50,000 award.

Eligibility:
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Who have enrolled full-time at an ABA-accredited law school
- Who have Demonstrated commitment to promoting our culture of community, opportunity and inclusion
- Apply and receive an offer to join the Paul Hastings summer program in one of our U.S. offices
Application Requirements:

- 1L applicants must submit a completed application by February 1, of their 1L year
- 2L applicants must submit a completed application by September 1, of their 2L year
Selection Criteria:
Recipients will be selected based on the following factors:
- Personal achievement
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Community service
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture of community, opportunity and inclusion
- Undergraduate and law school academic performance
- Commitment to succeed as a lawyer in a large, private practice environment
- Personal statement
